Leadership Team

Deidre Sperry M.Sc. SLP – Director of Clinical Services. Dee provides clinical leadership and support to the eCommunity Support Network. Dee is a Speech Language Pathologist who has been working to help peoplewith complex needs to regain their cognitive and communication skills for over 20 years.  In 2002 she was part of the expert panel who developed the Preferred Practice Guidelines for Cognitive Communication Disorders for the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.  She has developed innovative therapy material and assessment tools that are used around the world. Clinically, Dee has focused her career on helping people to develop innovative ways that allow them to once again participate in the myriad of activities of everyday living.  She understands the importance of evidenced based practice as well as the need to be creative when developing treatment programs.

Paul Mc Cormack – Director of Operations. Paul supports the eCommunity Network team by taking all their creative energy and trying to put systems in place that are practical and implementable!! Paul has been a Senior Manager in both the private and public sector and has worked with people with multiple complex special needs for the past 30 years. In 2008, Paul was recognized by the United Way for his commitment to the sector with the Bhayana Dedication Award and in 2011 he received the Ontario Brain Injury Association’s Professional of the Year Award. He has been a lecturer at George Brown College, sat on numerous advisory committees and presented at conferences throughout Canada.

James Gillam – Director of Technology.  Jim leads our team in ensuring that we are utilizing the latest in readily available technology to enhance our services. A social worker by training, he has worked for the past 30 years in both the private and in the public sector with the CCAS of Hamilton supporting society’s most vulnerable people. A self-professed techy Jim always is exploring how technology enhances the way we live.

Margo Kindree – Director of Training. Margo works alongside our e-Coaches ensuring that the strategies and techniques being utilized maximize benefit to our clients. She is an Occupational Therapist who has been working with individuals with complex needs for the past 20 years. Margo believes in utilizing and incorporating the multidisciplinary support of team members to best serve each client. Prior to working as an OT, she worked as a Child and Youth Worker for almost 10 years where  she  facilitated various cognitive behavioural programs for adolescents with  diverse social, psychological and learning challenges.

As experienced managers and practitioners Dee, Paul, Jim and Margo provide overall organizational leadership and work directly with our e-Coaches to ensure that our support exceed customer and client expectations.
